Mr. Richard Prusinski is a principal with Polymer Concrete Consultants International, which manages startups for polymer concrete production and the developmental of processes for recycled thermoplastic polymer concrete. Mr. Prusinski is considered to be the “father” of the polymer concrete industry.

Prior to his joining PCCI, Mr. Prusinski was appointed to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA); served as vice president of research & development at Transpo Industries;  vice president of the international division of Quazite Corp, a division of  Shell Oil; vice president of Lone Star Industries, and President of its LSI  Polymer division; as U.S. Deputy Director of the International Trade Fair by  Presidential appointment; and as Founder & CEO of the Architectural Research Corp.

Mr. Prusinski holds 16 patents, and has invented, produced and marketed numerous polymer concrete products. He is a frequent lecturer, the author of a number of papers, and the recipient  of numerous awards, including a nomination to the Plastics Hall of Fame; the Tribute Award from the American Polish Engineering Association; entries in  Who's Who in Technology Today and Who's Who in Science; and the Pioneering  Award in Plastics In Material & Structural Engineering (Prague).

Mr. Prusinski received degrees in biology and chemistry from the University of Detroit and has completed programs at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Oxford University, Michigan State University, Wayne State University, and St. Mary's College of Orchard Lake.

Mr. Prusinski is a WWII veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp. from 1943 to 1945 in the European Theater of Operations.
